The Kailua Village Artists Gallery featured artist for the month of April is palette knife oil painter P. L. Hedden.
Hedden is a self-taught oil painter specializing in landscapes and seascapes capturing the Big Island. She took up oil painting in 2011, her use of palette knives creates a distinct textured appearance within her paintings. She will be displaying several small works in April.
During the month of April, Hedden will be working at the gallery on Mondays April 4, 11, 18, and 25.
